The fact that you can run installer and that dll can be there, but still not load correctly is not surprising. Updated to the Public Beta, and the crash is gone! But now I'm getting "You do not have an up to date version of the XAudio2 libraries, which are a part of DirectX." which doesn't make any sense because I've already run the installer to ensure it's up to date.
I disabled the Steam in-game overlay and ran the DirectX setup as posted above and got the same error.ġ2:30:11 DBG: Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATIONġ2:30:11 DBG: 00DBA340 0001:009B9340 "$F:/Steam/steamapps/common/Serious Sam VR The Last Hope/Bin/SamTLH.exe" I opened the overlay again using the button on the controller and clicked on the desktop tab and saw the crash, looks like this: I started the game from the Steam overlay in the HMD, the overlay closed as it does when it usually starts a game, but it appeared like nothing was happening.
